Hi, my name is Louise!

I’ve been around IH for most of my life, but this is the first time I’m joining as an official member of the team. I graduated in Biological Engineering from Minho University in 2015 and then spent nine years exploring different roles in the corporate world. In 2025, I decided to completely change career paths, trained as an English teacher, and completed my CELTA certification later that year.

Braga has always been home, but when I’m not here, I’m usually travelling in a campervan around Europe with my two dogs. I love traveling, discovering new places and experimenting with different styles of cuisine. I’m also always on the lookout for new hobbies—photography, sourdough baking, gardening, and even pottery! But most of the time, you’ll probably find me relaxing in the sun with a good book.
