Hi! I’m Louise.

I’m originally from Liverpool in the United Kingdom, but I’ve been living abroad since I graduated from university. I took my CELTA in 2018 in Jerez, Spain and have taught in many schools and academies across Spain.
I came to IH Braga in 2019 where I undertook the IH Certificate in Teaching Young learners and Teens course and continued to work on my professional career. I later went to work for International House in the Basque Country, Spain. However, I soon missed the Portuguese culture and way of life – I am now back working here at IH Braga and enjoying working with IH Braga students at all levels from Kids to C1. I especially enjoy doing craft activities with my kids and Junior groups.

In my free time I love to learn other languages, cook and sew. I’m also a keen traveller – I’ve visited over 30 countries!
